Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using HeyaCare.
Definitions
- User: Any individual or entity utilising HeyaCare services to request introductions to care professionals
- Care Professional: Any independent, self-employed individual registered on the HeyaCare platform to offer care services
- Services: All services provided by HeyaCare, limited to introducing Users to Care Professionals
- Platform: The website and all associated services offered by HeyaCare
- Account: The account created by Users and Care Professionals to access Platform services
- Introduction: The facilitation of initial contact between a User and a Care Professional
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this Platform and constitute the agreement between you and HeyaCare. Your access to and use of the Platform is conditional upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.
You affirm that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to use the Platform.
Service Description and Our Role
HeyaCare operates exclusively as an introduction and referral service. We connect families seeking care services with independent, self-employed care professionals.
We are not a care agency. We do not provide care services directly, employ or manage care workers, or arrange for the provision of personal care services as defined under the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
What We Do
- Make introductions between families and independent care professionals
- Facilitate initial contact between parties
- Verify care professional credentials for introduction purposes only
- Provide a platform for connection
What We Expressly DO NOT Do
To ensure compliance with CQC regulations, we specifically do not:
- Provide personal care services
- Employ, supervise, or manage care workers
- Monitor the quality of care services provided by care professionals
- Arrange rotas of care workers on behalf of care recipients
- Manage replacement of care workers beyond simple additional introductions
- Continuously review or update care plans
- Require care workers to attend supervision, wear uniforms, or use specific equipment
- Set care standards, protocols, or direct how care is delivered
- Have any ongoing role in the direction or control of personal care after introduction
- Charge ongoing fees for care services (only one-off introduction fees)
- Take responsibility for the quality, safety, or suitability of care provided
Independent Contractor Relationship
All Care Professionals on our platform are independent contractors who:
- Operate their own care businesses
- Hold their own insurance, DBS checks, and qualifications
- Set their own rates and terms of service
- Are responsible for their own tax and legal obligations
- Work directly for Users, not for HeyaCare
- Maintain direct contractual relationships with care recipients
Platform Access and Registration
Licence to Use
HeyaCare grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform in accordance with these Terms.
Account Registration
To access Platform features, you must register for an Account. All registration information must be accurate, complete, and kept up-to-date. You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality and all activities under your account.
Technology Limitations
We cannot guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service. We may suspend, withdraw, or change the Platform without notice.
User Obligations
Users must:
- Conduct their own due diligence on care professionals
- Establish direct contracts with care providers
- Handle all care-related communications directly with care professionals
- Independently verify insurance, qualifications, and references
- Provide accurate information when requesting introductions
- Comply with all applicable laws regarding care services
- Only request introductions for themselves or those they have authority to represent
Care Professional Obligations
Care Professionals must:
- Maintain current DBS checks and relevant qualifications
- Hold appropriate public liability insurance
- Operate as genuine self-employed individuals
- Handle all client relationships independently
- Comply with all applicable laws related to care services
- Provide accurate information about services and qualifications
- Work directly for care recipients without HeyaCare involvement in service delivery
Services and Transactions
HeyaCare is not a party to any contract between Users and Care Professionals. All care service agreements are strictly between User and Care Professional. We accept no responsibility for the execution of such services.
Data Protection and Privacy
HeyaCare complies with all applicable data protection laws. See our Privacy Policy for detailed information on data collection, use, and protection.
Limitation of Liability
HeyaCare provides introductions only and accepts no responsibility for:
- The quality, safety, legality, or suitability of care services provided
- Actions, omissions, or performance of care professionals
- Disputes between families and care professionals
- Any damages arising from care relationships established through our platform
- The ongoing provision of care services after introduction
HeyaCare shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from use or inability to use our services.
Indemnification
Users and Care Professionals agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HeyaCare from all losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
- Use of the Platform
- Relationships formed through introductions made via the Platform
- Breach of these Terms
- Violation of any law or third-party rights
Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection legislation.
Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction
Disputes shall be resolved through mediation where possible. If unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration Act 1996. These Terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
Termination
HeyaCare may suspend or terminate any Account immediately without notice for breach of these Terms. Users and Care Professionals may terminate their Account by providing written notice.
Disclaimer and Acknowledgment
By using HeyaCare, you acknowledge that:
- We are an introduction service only, not a care provider or agency
- All care arrangements are made directly between families and care professionals
- You use our service at your own risk
- We make no warranties about care professional suitability
- We have no ongoing role in care delivery after introduction
General Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between parties. If any provision is invalid, the remainder stays in effect. We may modify these Terms with 30 days’ notice for material changes.

- Provide accurate information in requests
As a Care Professional:
- Maintain current DBS checks and qualifications
- Hold appropriate insurance
- Operate as a genuine self-employed individual
- Provide accurate service information
Independent Arrangements
All care arrangements are made directly between families and care professionals. HeyaCare is not involved in these contracts and accepts no responsibility for care services provided.
Our Liability
We provide introductions only. We are not responsible for:
- Quality or safety of care services
- Actions of care professionals
- Disputes between parties
- Any issues arising from care relationships
Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Data and Privacy

Cookies and Website Use

Account Termination
